National Fishhead Radio went
on the air in the winter of 1995.
It was syndicated by the summer
of 96 and by winter of that year,
the show was broadcast into
over 100 markets across the
United States and Canada.
Guests like Mel Brooks, Tim Conway,
Tracey Bird, Howell Raines, Tommy
Sanders, John Gierach, Jimmy
Houston, Babe Winkleman, Don
Larsen, Tred Barta and Pat
McManus all appeared on the
funniest fishing radio show ever
produced.
The show was featured on ESPN,
National Public Radio, Entertainment
Tonight, Sports Illustrated and
numerous national angling magazines.
Veteran radio talk show host
"Snag HooFish" is giving a face lift
to the old format and is bringing
it back in a new 1 hour format.
Snag will broadcast live from
rivers, lakes and oceans featuring
a special guest while fishing in an
anything goes format including
interactive listener participation.
The Fishface Radio hour will break
new ground in outdoor sports radio
and will be the Saturday Night Live
of fishing radio and Snag promises
to be the censored version of Howard
Stern.
